Irrfan Khan’s Son Babil Pens An Emotional Post For His Father: ‘Waking Up Is The Worst, I Hate Realising Everyday That You’re Gone’
Bollywood lost one of its finest actors after Irrfan Khan died in April 2020. The actor passed away after a two-year-long battle with leukemia, and his millions of fans as well as Bollywood celebs mourned the huge loss. It was an even bigger loss for his family, and his son Babil constantly keeps sharing posts and his thoughts on social media as he writes about missing his father. In his latest post, Babil wrote an emotional note for his father while sharing a throwback picture. He wrote about coping with the loss and how waking up is the worst.

Babil took to his Instagram and shared a throwback picture which shows him with his father Irrfan Khan. While the actor can be seen playing a game on his mobile phone, Babil looked intently into the phone as well, while standing beside his dad. In his caption, he spoke about coping with the loss, and how he hates realizing everyday that Irrfan Khan is no more. In his emotional note, he wrote about having a dream about his dad, and how he did not want to wake up after that.

Babil’s caption read, “I slept for 14 hours and I didn’t want to wake up cause I was dreaming about you. Waking up is the worst, I hate realising everyday that you’re gone. You didn’t say anything, we just laughed. (He’s playing the OG ‘bounce’)”

Irrfan Khan’s son Babil recently left India to go back to his studies. He is studying filmmaking in the UK, and sharing a picture of him with his mom Sutapa Sikdar, Babil had earlier written, “You told me to take care of her but it turned out that she took care of us. Mamma, that light house in the storm, I hope I can give you the world to travel, and everything more that you desire, there is nothing left for me to live now but you and Ayaan.”
